    MOTIVATION OF A ZOONYM TYPE IN SERBIAN

    Summary: The paper studies semantically motivated ornitonyms from semantic andmorphological aspects. The analysis suggests that the biggest number of ornitonyms aremotivated by the colour of a birds feathers and by a birds appearance. Apart from a birdsappearance, names are also motivated by a birds food, its specific sound, its movement andbehaviour, as well as its habitat. Some ornitonyms are motivated by peoples beliefs.

    Morphological analysis shows that the biggest number of ornitonyms are made byadding suffixes to nouns and adjectives (-ar, -ka, -a, -ica, -aljka, - avka, and similar). Asmaller number is made by combining affixation and agreement. A number of ornitonymsis made from lexis belonging to general lexical corpus and undergoing metaphoricaltransfer of meaning on the ground of similarity.

    INETEREST OF YOUNG LEARNERS IN FILMS APPLIED IN TEACHINGTHE SERBIAN LANGUAGE

    Summary: Film and literature represent reality in a specific way. It is very importantto connect these two areas in the classroom because it helps enrich students artisticexperiences, widen their knowledge and refine their esthetic sense. It was long ago whenLhotsky said: Film does not make a man either good or evil, but it makes him better andor worse. (Lhotsky 1950: 11). Research suggests that young learners are interested inwatching films in the language classroom. As a consequence, film should be given moreattention in teaching by frequent viewing, giving task-based activities and projects tostudents, using problem-solving tasks, presentation methods, etc. If our aim is to preventbad influence of films on students, we should try to develop their critical attitude to valuesin teaching.

There are few artists here who so skilfully followed thewaves of times and used their movement to bring about the vision of future for our times.Such understanding of time and space shows that Krsics time is in fact the time massmoving forward and becoming bigger like a snowball going downhill.     INFLUENCE OF TWO APPROACHES OF PLANNING PHYSICALEDUCATION LESSONS ON STUDENT ANTHROPOMETRICCHARACTERISTICS

    Summary: The research aims to study the influence of two ways of planningphysical education lessons on secondary-school student anthropometric characteristics.The experimantal research involved 208 students, divided into two groups according to

  • the chosen criterion of planning physical education lessons: experimental group of 104examinees exposed to continuous planning, and control group of 104 examinees exposedto cyclical planning of physical education lessons. In the research we used fiveanthropometric characteristics for observation: longitudinal skeleton dimensions andcircular dimensions. Multivariety analysis suggests that there is not statistically significantdifference between experimental and control groups in relation to initial and finalmeasurings of the five anthropometric characteristics. These results are logical as the groupswere formed accidentally and the examinees are of the same age and sex. The differencesare rather caused by accidental and body characteristics resulting from environmentalinfluences.

    QUALITY OF TEACHER-CHILD COMMUNICATION AS APRECONDITION OF SUCCESSFUL TEACHING INKINDERGARTENS

    Summary: The paper studies relationship of pre-school teacher to a child and his/herpersonality, aiming to determine teachers responsibility for successful communicationwith child. It further examines teachers responsiveness to childrens needs, focusing onteachers ability to recognise, accept and respond to these needs, to listen to children andtrust them.

    The aim of the study is to determine the quality of teacher-child communication inkindergartens and how it influences life in kindergarten and upbringing of children. Theresearch results can lead to questions related to appropriate and necessary programmes forprofessional development of pre-school teachers.

Russisch wurde seit dem Jahre 1877 und Deutsch seit dem1891 am Lektorat fr alle Studierenden an der drei bestehenden Fakultten gelernt.Die Einfhrung des Englischen blieb als eine einsame und jahrzehntelange nichtrealisierte Idee.
