residif yang hingga saat ini belum diketahui secara pasti
penyebabnya. Psoriasis bisa terjadi pada semua umur, umumnya
terjadi pada orang dewasa. Di Indonesia sendiri prevalensi
penderita psoriasis mencapai 1-3 persen, berarti ada sekitar 2-6
juta penduduk yang menderita psoriasis dan hanya sebagian kecil
saja yang sudah terdiagnosis dan tertangani secara medis. Oleh
karena itu penting sebagai dokter umum untuk dapat menegakkan
diagnosis psoriasis sehingga penderita psoriasis dapat segera
mendapatkan penatalaksanaan yang semestinya.
