Explanatory Note Importanţa programului: La nivel naţional au fost identificate necesităţile reale ale societăţii pentru formarea viitorilor profesori la specialitatea Limbi moderne: pregătirea elevilor/studenţilor pentru a activa în spaţul Republicii Moldova orientat către Uniunea Europeană, în proiectele de colaborare internaţională la nivel guvernamental şi non-guvernamental, în măsurile de promovare a plurilingvismului, mobilităţile profesionale şi cele din mediul academic etc.

The Importance of the curriculum: At the National Level there have been identified the real necessities of the society for the formation of the future teachers in the specialty Modern Languages: pupils’ and students’ training who will work on the territory of the Republic of Moldova is directed towards the European Union, they will be involved into projects of International Collaboration at the Government and Non-Government level, in the activities of promoting knowledge in many languages, in professional and academic mobility, etc. Scopul formării specialistului: Planul de învăţământ prevede formarea specialiştilor de limbi moderne capabili să activeze în domeniul pedagogic, marcat de o diversitate linguală şi culturală şi orientat spre valorile general umane care sunt promovate pe plan european şi internaţional.

The Aim of Specialist Formation: The Curriculum provides the formation of specialists in foreign languages that are capable to work in the pedagogical domain which is marked by a linguistic and cultural diversity directed towards the general human values promoted on the European and international level. Finalitatea programului: Programul prevede formarea profesorilor de limbi şi literaturi străine, specialişti în metodica învăţământului şi munca educativă, metodişti, inspectori. The Purposefulness of the Curriculum: The curriculum provides the formation of foreign languages and literature teachers, specialists in the methodology of education and educational work, methodologists and inspectors. Condiţiile de admitere: Sunt admişi la studii de licenţă deţinătorii diplomelor de BAC, diplomelor de studii superioare, diplomelor

de licenţă. Conditions of admission: The holders of the Baccalaureate’s Degree Diplomas. Concepţia formării specialistului: În cadrul ştiinţelor educaţiei, asigurarea studierii limbilor străine este determinată de condiţiile reale de evoluţie a societăţii contemporane, dată fiind importanţa comunicării inter-sociale şi interpersonale într-o lume marcată de mondializare şi de globalizare. Aprofundarea cunoştinţelor în domeniul limbilor străine este esenţială pentru încadrarea cu succes în relaţiile sociale, economice şi culturale, inclusiv academice, în care s-a angajat Republica Moldova. Limbile străine lărgesc accesul la valorile materiale şi spirituale ale diferitor comunităţi lingvo-culturale şi fundamentează, astfel, dezvoltarea armonioasă a personalităţii intelectuale şi morale în ansamblu. La conceperea şi structurarea programului de didactică a limbilor străine s-a ţinut cont de propunerile experţilor locali şi internaţionali în domeniu, de documentele internaţionale care reglementează statutul limbilor şi

învăţarea lor, de opiniile şi de aşteptările viitorilor angajatori. Aceste condiţii au permis orientarea formării specialiştilor de limbi străine spre necesităţile reale ale pieţei muncii din ţara noastră şi dincolo de hotarele ei. The Conception of specialist formation: Within the Education Sciences the studying of foreign languages is determined by the real conditions of the modern society evolution, the importance of inter-social and interpersonal communication being emphasized in a world marked by globalization. Deepening the knowledge in the field of foreign languages is essential for a successful adaptation in social, economic, cultural and academic relations into which the Republic of Moldova is involved. The knowledge of a foreign language widens the access to the material and spiritual values of various linguistic and cultural communities and creating the basis of a harmoniously developed intellectual and moral personality per total. When conceiving and structuring the curriculum in the

foreign languages didactics we took into consideration the suggestions given by the local and foreign experts, the international documents that regulate the statute of languages and their learning, the ideas and the expectance of the future employers. These conditions allowed us to direct the specialists of foreign languages to the real necessities of the market in our country and abroad.

Concepţia plurilingvistă pusă la baza formării viitorilor profesori de limbi străine, care mai alternează disciplinele de sinteză cu cele de aprofundare, stimulează explorarea şi consolidarea unor aspecte concrete ale domeniilor pedagogic şi didactic, în funcţie de obiectul şi metodologia specifica a disciplinelor implicate în fiecare direcţie. În acelaşi timp, concepţia are un caracter deschis şi dinamic, care permite modificări şi ajustări motivate, pe de o parte, de evoluţia viziunilor asupra predării limbilor străine în societatea contemporană şi, pe de altă parte, de dezvoltarea ştiinţei pedagogice.

The multi-language concept as a base of foreign languages teachers’ formation, which alternate the courses of synthesis with the basic ones, stimulates the exploration and consolidation of some concrete aspects in the pedagogical and didactic domains depending on the subject and the specific methodology of the involved courses in each direction. At the same time, the concept has an open and dynamic character that allows changes and adjustments to be done on the one hand separately from the evolution of visions concerning foreign language teaching and on the other hand not being influenced by the development of the pedagogical science.
