A Message From Your Principal - Thanks for a Great School Year Dear Central Families, What a fantastic year this has been at Central Elementary! Thank you for your endless support of our Central Tiger Cubs by volunteering in the classroom, chaperoning eld trips, reading at home with your child, and partnering with our Central faculty to bring the best possible learning opportunities to our students. The strength of our Central community and the passion you share helps make our school a special place to be. The month of May has been a urry of activities that have included exceptional study trip experiences, such as Chicago for our 5th graders. We’ve celebrated with our students, honoring their academic growth and achievements throughout the school year. Also, we found time to “Sharpen the Saw” during our annual Field Day in the nal days of school! Thank you ALL for attending our Leader in Me Family Night cookout in May and enjoy some of the pictures below from that event. We wish you a restful summer vacation and look forward to seeing everyone in August! Yours in education, Rebecca Outcalt Principal

Central's Literacy Challenge - 5,000 Books in 50 Days! We launched our reading marathon to read 5,000 Books in 50 Days on, Monday, March 11th, and we concluded on Friday, May 24th! Central nished the challenge reading over 6,500 books and earned the reward of duct taping Mrs. Outcalt and Mr. Salsman to the wall. Great job and keep reading over the summer.
