Message from the MCP 15.16

Dear candidate,a lot can be said about being MCP, and it’s almost impossible to describe it in words. And that’s the beauty of it: an MCP term is full of emotions, challenges, people, learnings, failures, achievements and thousands of other things.

And that’s the journey you just signed in to live. This is one of the most important decisions you will ever make in your life, and for sure, one of the most intense experiences you will ever live.

The person you are now will be very different from the person you will be at the end of your term and that’s one of the most important questions you should ask yourself during the process: “who am I and who do I want to be?”

Just by opening this application you’re an example of leadership and the embodiment of the AIESEC values, that’s for sure, and I hope you’ll embrace this application process as one of the most intense inner & outer journeys you can live, full of dreams, discoveries and personal growth.

You have the opportunity to challenge what has been done until now, to come with innovative ideas, to think AIESEC and its external environment in a different way.

As the first challenge of this application, I would like you to think: “how does the last day of my MCP term look like? How will the culture of AIESEC in Portugal be? How many life-changing leadership experiences are really enough?”

The choice of answering these questions is now yours and I hope the pictures and answers you just got in your mind motivate you to start answering this application package.

I wish you the best of luck and happiness throughout the whole process.

Henrique SantanaMCP 15.16 of AIESEC in Portugal
