Hello dear potential teammate!!!
It’s with a great pleasure and excitement that I officially open the second round of Member Committee Vice Presidents Positions for AI ESEC in Burkina Faso for the term 16-17. I’m sure you are reading this now because you are thinking of having an experience of life changing. So, let me tell you to no more hesitate to go through the steps because it’s going to be the beginning of an exciting, fabulous, positive life changing experiences you never had. I truly believe in youth potential and their capacity to positively change the world and I’m sure you are part of the youth that dare action to have positives impact their society.
Wish you all the best during the process and whatever the selection result will be, i ‘m sure you will learn and grow. So let’s do it now!!!

ABOUT AIESEC IN BURKINA FASO
AIESEC Burkina Faso is inspiring and lovely story built by young leaders from Burkina Faso an all over the world. AIESEC Burkina Faso granted the official extension status at IC Kenya 2011 and got the full membership status at IPM Serbia 2013. Today AIESEC Burkina Faso counts 1 LC (AIESEC Université de Ouagadougou) 1 Specialized Units (AIESEC Université de Koudougou) and 1 Expansion (AIESEC Bobo Dioulasso). AIESEC Burkina Faso have an MC house located in Kilwin. Our apartment is located inside the building of NGO Buayaba. WE also have an LC House located in Pissy not far from the center. Ouagadougou is the capital of motorcycle. Public transportation is not suited for MCVPs. It’s better for all team members to get their own mean of transportation and in Burkina Faso it is a motorcycle. But don’t worry, moto lessons will be part of the transition, if necessary someone will teach you how to drive a moto. In case an international team member can’t get a motorcycle, we can support each other by using one motorcycle for 2 persons. It is our aim to be able to provide compensation to team members for their work. To limit costs, MC members have access to an MC house or the LC house where they can stay for free and also they will have internet access for their work. Base on the available fund in the MC account, some money will be allocate to the international MC members for feeding
APPLICATION PROCESS
Who should apply?
Anyone who has been LCVP, LCP, SUVP, SUP or MC Manager may apply. For anyone who does not meet these requirements, please contact [email protected] for more infor-mation.
*The positions are opened for internationals as well. What is the application process? The application process consists of the submission of the Application Package, which will be followed by Pre-screening process, qualifying the official candidates. Those qual-ified will pass to Election and Selection process, which will be held in March/April 2015. For the election you have to be given the vote of confidence from the National Plenary. After this qualification the candidates will be interviewed by the Selection Committee.
The Application is divided in the following parts: 1. MCVP Questionnaire: These questions must be all answered in English, submitted in PDF format should not take more than 15 pages in a minimum letters size of 11.
2. Your CV: Provide us with information such as contact info, personal info (age, hobbies -interests), academic background, your AIESEC career, professional/working back-ground. You can use a maximum of 2 pages to create your CV (you can also make a 3 minute video about yourself if you prefer)
3. Endorsement Letters a. 1 from an external (or alumnus) b. 1 from an International AIESECer
c. 1 from a member of AIESEC in your country
Note that MCEB 15/16 of AIESEC in Burkina Faso doesn’t give endorsement

MC 16-17 STRUCTURE
Introduction to the role:
The MC experience is one of the strongest in the organization. Experiencing AIESEC under both Team Member Program and Team Leader Program, an MC member is qualified for an intense team experience leading the whole entity of AIESEC in Burkina Faso. Accessing the vast global network of AIESEC as national representative of the entity, one develops on both personal and professional perspective.
The Role
The Member Committee Vice Presidents’ (MCVPs) prime responsibility is to develop the National strategy and Direction and guide AIESEC in Burkina Faso, Local Committees (LC and SUs), and all members in achieving AIESEC in Burkina Faso’s mission and long-term direction.
•Ensure common mentality & direction
•Responsible for the creation and implementation of national strategy
•Track and analyze the national performance
•Representatives of AIESEC in Burkina Faso in the Global network
•Build & Facilitate national conferences and meetings •Responsible to implement the Global Strategy based on the National Reality
•Provide education & support to LCs and SUs on National Strategy
•Design initiatives & projects to support National Plan & Growth
•Provide Platform for LC/SU collaboration and innovation
