    Removing the back cover

    Remove the back cover to access the battery compartment, SIM card slot, andstorage card slot.

    1. With the phone turned off, hold your phone securely with the front facing down.

    2. With your finger, pry open the back cover from the small opening near thePOWER button.

    1. Insert the lower half of the phone into the bottom of the back cover.

    2. Press the sides and top part of the back cover towards the phone to lock thecover in place. You'll hear a click when the back cover is locked in place.

    SIM cardThe SIM card contains your phone number, service details, and memory for storingphonebook contacts and/or text messages.

    1. Take the back cover off.

    2. Remove the battery.

  • 3. Slide the SIM card holder in the direction of OPEN (etched on the SIM cardholder), and then flip it open.

    4. Insert the SIM card with its gold contacts facing down and its cut-off cornerfacing out of the SIM card holder.

  • 5. Slide the SIM card completely into the holder. Make sure the SIM card goesthrough the two 'guides' on the SIM card holder.

    6. Close the SIM card holder and then slide it in the opposite direction of OPENto lock it.

    Removing the SIM card

    Make sure to switch off HTC Wildfire S before removing your SIM card.

    1. Take the back cover off.

    2. Remove the battery.

    3. Slide the SIM card holder in the direction of OPEN, and then flip it open.

    4. Slide the SIM card out of the SIM card holder.
