ABOUT US:Akat-Folia has been operating since 1993 as a family business. From the beginning, our business activity was focused on the sector of foil packagings. The basic concept, which we adopted and implement, is the production and delivery of products of the highest quality that are able to meet the requirements of our customers.
In 2015, Akat-Folia evolved into AKAT-GROUP GmbH. During the cooperation with our customers, we focus on their full satisfaction and we adapt to their requirements. We are a trading partner of foil manufacturers, as well as the most modern printing houses in Poland, which specialize in Flexo printing and Rotogravure printing. The main purpose of this cooperation is the provision of the best service to our customers. We have a separate trade department for cooperation with Western Europe, which efficiently delivers beneficial offers and ensures quick implementation of the orders, as well as flexible and optimal transport. We guarantee high quality and repeatability of the products. We care about the entire process - from the first contact with a potential customer until the delivery of finished products. Our office is located in Wrocław, we operate on the entire Polish market, as well as in many EU countries. OUR PACKAGING PRODUCTS ARE USED IN THE AREA OF FOOD PRODUCTSAREA OF FOOD PRODUCTS:
breakfast products• pastry shops and bakeries, cafes and tea shops• deeply frozen products and ice• salty snacks and candied fruit mixes• cakes• professional packaging with high barrier: meat, milk, • cheese, fish, etc.
PRODUCTS FOR THE FOOD SECTOR: OVERPRINTS for tapes, foil cases and foil half-cases made of transparent foil: OPP, pearly white OPP, silver OPP, CPP, PET, BOPA, PEOVERPRINTS for tapes, foil cases and foil half-cases on laminates that allow for high foil barrier, which makes it possible to preserve the freshness and properties of such products as: meat, milk, cheese, fish, coffee, tea and this way, it’s possible to meet the highest standards. Types of lamination: 2-layer or 3-layer laminates using the following foils: OPP, silver OPP, pearly white OPP, CPP, PE, PET, silver PET, PA, laminates with the use of aluminium and paper, very durable laminates with EVOH and ANTYFOG layer.
Food industry packagings are manufactured in accordance with the BRC system, which is an international standard for food safety that is required by most supermarkets. BRC requirements relate to:
having HACCP certificate,•having appropriate system documentation. i.e.: quality book, quality policy, organization •scheme, scope of responsibility, description of raw materials and finished products,
introduction of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP)•having description of the product packaging, product durability and protection against •contamination,preparation of hygiene principles, storage of protective clothing,•training of staff with the use of developed procedures.•
