What IS “spiritual” friendship? Jesus freely shared a special depth of friendship with his disciples – a friendship He desires to cultivate with each of us! “…Be deep-spirited friends.” (Philippians 2:2) This retreat will be a time to eat together, to worship together, to pray together, to give & receive ministry, and to catch up with friends across the region. Developing deeper friendships, both with Jesus and with each other, will be the central theme.

PILGRIMAGE & EDLDMark Warner, Midwest South Regional Leader

Mark will be addressing two major VineyardUSA initiatives — the Vineyard Pilgrimage and EDLD. EDLD (Evangelism, Discipleship, Leadership Development and Diversity) refers to a repeating cycle of essential practices meant to encourage individual Christians to experience God in their daily lives.

The Vineyard Pilgrimage is an intentional framework of best practices that includes both a personal discipleship track AND a separate but integrated leadership track.

Mark will touch on both, talk about our region’s involvement in the Pilgrimage, laying out his vision for becoming a Pilot Region for the Pilgrimage and answer any questions you might have.
