Bolt Run o
Did the BOLT Run this weekend, 5 miles - 54:47 - 10:57 pace. And thank
God I was wearing my trusty old Garmin because first of all they gave
me and my husband the wrong number race numbers. I show up as doing
the 5k in 22minutes which my husband was the one that did that race and
then I am nowhere in the result page for my 5 mile. Disappointing but
whatever, again I love having my Garmin!! And I improved on my time so
I cant complain about that!!

April 21 will be the Team Psych only workout at Mac Dill AFB.
All current members have been sent a confidential email on this
matter and how to register. Let me tell you now that riding on
base is like going to another city. However the traffic is very slow
and the overall safest place you will ever ride. Trust me, I hate
urban rides. Some of the road is basically no cars. This is an op-
portunity. Take it. Circumstances could change and you may not
get this opportunity again.
Child of the Sun April 21 has been removed from the Team Psych
Must do list for 2012. This is a fine race enjoyed by many last
year.

Clearwater Frenchy’s & Pier Parking lot from there.

Team Psych will provide marker buoys for sighting practice on a 400 meter
shoreline parallel measured course. A brief clinic on open water swimming
will be provided for any novice swimmers. 1/4 mile loop for as much as you
would like to complete. These open water swims are designed to accommo-
date two groups. Group one is non-swimmer, ( TRI Virgin– see photo of our
infamous Tri Virgin Decal featuring Keith Bauer– who is a Open Water Swim
graduate from 2011) the I am afraid to stick my head in the water, don't like
water I cant see the bottom, and to become an athlete who would like to be
more comfortable in the water. The goal is to get you ready for your first tri-
athlon. Group two is the accomplished swimmer refining the open water
swim techniques.
