Go To 'Edit Your Page'. Click Wall Settings.
Be sure the Default View For Wall says 'All Posts' this will open up your page so that people will feel more likely to post comments, and get engaged. It will also be less confusing for the consumer to view your interactions.
Now, take a look at what you allow people to post, be sure you are allowing your likers/fans to engage.
**One way to avoid people trying to spam your page is to not allow links to be shared.** (this is the only box I would recommend un-checking!)
