Investigation is taken period of 32 years (1975-2007) with cosideration on comparative analyze of trends. All countries are classificated according to traffic safety situation and traffic safety trends. We are noticed directly relations between traffic safety sitution, especially traffic safety tendencies, and strength, stability i efficiency of the traffic safety system in some countries. , , : ( 100.000.000 . -), ( 100.000 ) ( 10.000 )

- ADVANTAGES OF APPLICATION COMBINED TRAM-TROLLEY VEHICLE FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT , , , , . , , . . . , . bstract Public group transportation of passengers is certainly the future of transportation. Not only because the car will be less and less space, but also because the modern public transport already planning, designing and organizing according to the future expected quality of transport services by the user. One of the examples of such a subsystem of public transport is using of combined tram-trolley vehicles. This vehicle is the sum of the benefits of a successful tram and trolley vehicles on today's level of technique. Application of this subsystem contributes to better quality services and secure transport and increased safety of passengers during their transport in these vehicles. . , , , , , , , . . - , . . . , , , . : ( , )

MODERN METHODS FOR CAPACITY AND LEVEL OF SERVICE ANALYSIS ON TWOLANE ROADS. . , , , , . . , , , , , . , . . . : HCM 2000., HBS 2001. , . , , . HCM- 2000., HBS 2001. , 1-20 . . bstract The main goal, of this paper is to show methods for capacity and level of service analysis on two lane roads and find the most appropriate method for our road conditions. The first chapter presents a brief description of the road network in Serbia, and road conditions that affects capacity and level of service. Methods for analysis that were used in this paper are: HCM 2001, HBS 2000. and Novoklasican method. The second chapter presents the basic definitions, steps and algorithms for each of the above methods. Third chapter presents the results of the analysis of specific examples, using all of the above methods. There are 20 groups of specific examples, and every group has one or more factors that represent specific road and traffic conditions. . F. : , s () , ( ).

VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL. , . , , . . . . . bstract Automobiles have played a dominant role in transportation since the onset of their mass production. Everywhere on earth, people come into contact with these vehicles, often on a daily basis. Typically, a car or a truck is one of the most complex and sophisticated products of the Industrial revolution that individuals encounter and with which they must interact. Although many people have an intuitive understanding of automobile dynamics, relatively few are able to describe, in any quantitative way. The goal of this paper is describe how vehicle dynamic control work and describe some technical solution.

ROAD WEATHER INFORMATION SYSTEM -''RWIS'' ROAD WEATHER INFORMATION SYSTEM -''RWIS'' AND ITS ROLE IN TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT , , , , , . . Inteligent Transport System- (IT ) Road Weather Information System (RWI ). Road Weather Information System, - , . Abstract Modern traffic management systems are composed of series of information which are linked to the transport and management components, thus making the system in whole more efficient, safer, and ecologically acceptable. The characteristics of successful traffic management system are comprehensive, adequate and real time information linked to the road infrastructure. One of those subsystems of Inteligent Transport System (IT system) is Road Weather Information System (RWI system). This paper presents Road Weather Information System in general, as innovation in the traffic and civil engineering practice in the Republic of Srpska, and elaborates the possibilities and expences of introduction of such system on the Republic of Srpska's roads. . ESP INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEM ESP AND ITS ROLE IN TRAFFIC SAFETY , , , . , , , , , , . (ITS). ITS- , , (Electronic Stability Control- ESP), . ESP- , , , : ITS, ESP, , , bstract In the last twenty years traffic density and number of vehicles on roads in general, has drastically increased. However, number of accidents is decreasing. Usage of intelligent transport systems (ITS) is very important factor that contributes such fact. This paper shows chronological overview of certain ITSs, their role in traffic safety with the emphasis on electronic stability application (Electronic Stability Program - ESP) i.e. its elementary parts, way of functioning, implementation, efficiency Key words: ITS, ESP,handling vehicles, stability, safety (ATIS) (ABCS) (CVO) (APTS) (ARTS)

Each participant traffic should included dude this program in the first phase consists of three basic components: theoretical training, ethical conduct and practical training. In the second phase of training the participants in traffic would be required to attend meetings where they predicted the participants were representatives of various institutions: the Ministry of Interior (MoI), Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Traffic School representatives, auto-schools, schools for elementary and secondary education. Because the bus drivers, as proposed by this model, should be thoroughly familiar with the peculiarities of each kategrije participants in traffic - would have to know how to drive a bicycle, to acquire the part of theoretical and practical training for drivers of bicycles, and such training and any other transportation in the traffic, because Savak of funds in traffic has its own special characteristics and derive from it and various ways of behavior in traffic. . , . : . , , , . . , . , , , , , , .

IMPACT OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE ENVIRONMENT DURING THE EXPLOITATION , ... . , , . , . . . . : , , , . bstract Motor vehicle is a complex product and its impact on the environment cannot simply to appraise. In addition to the impact during the construction of vehicles and the harmful impact of after use, the most important are ecological impacts on the environment during the exploitation of motor vehicles. During the use, a vehicle emits toxic exhaust gases and creates noise. Legal regulations, which restrict the levels of these parameters, become stronger from year to year. Manufacturers of motor vehicles discover new techniques of combustion to reduce the quantity and types of pollution components in the exhaust gases. Key words: motor vehicle, the environment, exhaust gases, legal regulations.

TRANSPORT STRATEGIC PLANNING DOCUMENTS REVIEW , , . . , , , . . bstract National strategic documents dealing with development of transport represent a precondition for coordinated investment actions, and coordinated development of particular transport modes toward an integrated and efficient transport system. In practice they are characterized by different document titles and diverse contents even if they have similar titles. The reasons for those differences are studied in the paper. The paper starts by defining basic terms, followed by the review of strategic transport documents titles and contents for several European countries. The relations between documents and their contents are discussed, as well as chronological process of policy formulation. Finally, some recommendations are given regarding strategic documents concepts and contents in the circumstances specific for countries in transition with a particular attention to countries of the former Yugoslavia and CEE countries. , , , / .
