Age With Knowledge Seminars….As we or our loved ones begin to
age, things can change - physically, mentally, emotionally- some-
times slowly, sometimes suddenly. Essentia Health wants to help
you understand your options and learn about available tools to better
prepare you for the challenges of aging. There will be three different
seminars held. Registration is 11:30, Program 12 - 1, Location, EMS
building, it is free with a light lunch served.

of discussing, documenting and sharing of your priorities with your
loved ones. Also speak on palliative care, hospice care & medication.

TUESDAYS IN THE PARK! MUSIC & PICNIC!!!
Every Tuesday night, local musicians & bands will
perform in the DL City Park’s Bandshell, near the
Pavilion, at 7:00 pm. If it rains, concerts are moved inside the Pavilion.
Prior to the FREE concert, there will be a picnic style meal from 6 – 7 pm,
served up by volunteers. This is a fund-raiser for Habitat for Humanity
and the Community Connections Series of the Historic Holmes Theatre,
so your donations for the food will benefit those programs.

Director of the Office of Youth Ministry & Catechesis:
Diocese of Crookston
The Diocese of Crookston is seeking a full time Director of the
Office of Youth Ministry and Catechesis. This office serves the
pastors, parish youth ministers and parish directors of religious
education and formation. The candidate is a voice in the diocese for
our young people. The candidate will coordinate all diocesan youth
activities (camps, rallies, trainings, etc.) with the assistance of
parish employees and volunteers. The candidate will also conduct
training sessions for catechesis in parishes. We are seeking a
candidate with an educational background and experience in the
areas of youth ministry and religious education. The qualifying
candidate needs to be a practicing Catholic who has an understand-
ing of the teachings of the Catholic Church and desires to promote

CHURCH CLEANING BEE: A note of thanks to all who came to church yesterday to
help with our church cleaning bee. A lot of areas were dusted up, spruced up and
freshened up. Thanks again
PARISH STEWARDSHIP OF TREASURE: On June 30, Holy Rosary Parish will close its
books for fiscal year 2016-2017. To date we are behind our budgeted goal by nearly
$39,000. This is part of the amount we actually need to operate our parish and it is
somewhat less than at this time last year. If you have fallen behind in your commitment
to the parish and would like to help us lessen this amount and ease the financial burden it
would be so appreciated.
PARISH OFFICES CLOSED FRIDAY AFTERNOONS THIS SUMMER. Beginning this
week our Parish Offices will be closed on Friday afternoons for the balance of the
summer. Adjusted office hours will be Monday through Thursday- 8:00 A.M. to 12:00
Noon and 1:00 to 4:30 P.M. and Friday 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon. These hours will be in
effect through Friday, September 1. Please continue to enjoy these wonderful summer
THIS PAST FRIDAY a group of young people and chaperones from our parish and other
points in our diocese left for a mission trip to Jamaica. While they are there they will be
doing various tasks such as building, cleaning and fixing in poor areas of the country.
Please keep them in your prayers in the coming days.
