New to Holy Rosary? Welcome. Wherever you are in your faith journey, it’s great to have you. Please visit us in the office. We’re here to serve you.

Have a child for baptism? Please stop by at the office to register at least three (3) months prior. A baptismal preparation is offered to help parents and godparents understand more deeply the sacrament.

Getting married in the Church? Please make arrangements at least six (6) months prior. We have dynamic couples to prepare and guide you. Please call the office.

Going in for surgery? Or seriously ill? Or in danger of death? Feel free to approach or call one of our priests for the Holy Anointing of the Sick.

Sick and/or Homebound? Would like to receive Communion? We have dedicated ministers who can visit, pray with you and bring you communion. Please call the office.

Questions about the Catholic Faith? The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults a.k.a. RCIA is for you. This is an informative, spiritual journey in the faith. This program is also for adult baptized Catholics who have not received their Communion and Confirmation. Please contact Tom or Peg Monley: 666-0265.

I perform miracles in proportion to your full surrender to Me and to your not thinking of yourselves. I sow treasure troves of graces when you are in the deepest poverty. No person of reason, no thinker, has ever performed miracles, not even among the saints. He does divine works whosoever surrenders to God. So don’t think about it any more, because your mind is acute and for you it is very hard to see evil and to trust in Me and to not think of yourself. Do this for all your needs; do this all of you and you will see great continual silent miracles. I will take care of things, I promise this to you.

Do note that “SchoolSpeak” is being taxed a bit more than normal and may be running a little slower. Teachers will look to post updates or information by 4:00 pm each school day. We ask that you submit daily attendance for your children, our apologies for those of you who received the correct URL but was missing the hot-link. With the decision to close all schools of the Diocese of Sacramento effective Friday, March 13th all faith formation / religious education classes are also suspended. Jesus Christ, You traveled through towns and villages “curing every disease and illness.” At your command, the sick were made well. Come to our aid now, in the midst of the global spread of the coronavirus, that we may experience your healing love. Heal those who are sick with the virus. May they regain their strength and health through quality medical care. Heal us from our fear, which prevents nations from working together and neighbors from helping one another. Heal us from our pride, which can make us claim invulnerability to a disease that knows no borders. Jesus Christ, healer of all, stay by our side in this time of uncertainty and sorrow. Be with those who have died from the virus. May they be at rest with you in your eternal peace. Be with the families of those who are sick or have died. As they worry and grieve, defend them from illness and despair. May they know your peace. Be with the doctors, nurses, researchers and all medical professionals who seek to heal and help those affected and who put themselves at risk in the process. May they know your protection and peace. Be with the leaders of all nations. Give them the foresight to act with charity and true concern for the well-being of the people they are meant to serve. Abstinencia & Ayuno

Abstinencia: Toda persona de 14 años o más debe abstenerse de comer carne (y alimentos que contengan carne) todos los viernes de Cuaresma y el Viernes Santo. Toda persona entre la edad de 18 y 59 debe ayunar el Viernes Santo, (continuando el ayuno hasta el Sábado Santo, es sugerido). Ayuno: En estos dos días el ayuno consiste en hacer una sola comida fuerte al día. Se pueden comer otras dos comidas, que sean suficientes para mantener la fuerza física. El comer entre comidas estos dos días no se permite, pero tomar líquidos si.
