Sincerely, NOTES FROM MONSIGNOR TIM: PRE-MARRIAGE PREPARATION WEEKEND: Last weekend Holy Rosary Parish hosted its annual Pre-Marriage Preparation Session. A Pre-Marriage Weekend is one of the requirements in the preparation process as a couple prepares for their Catholic-Christian Marriage. This year eleven couples participated and is the largest group that has partici- pated. I want to thank the team for all they have done to make the week- end the success it was. They are: Roger & LaVerne Moltzan, Steve & Cathy Carlson, Don & Terry Janes, Bill & Jen Wilke, Ron & Jerri Baker, Dan & Karen Wenner and Gary & Mary Hager. Thank you for helping provide this wonderful ministry not only for the parish but for the wider church as well! ADDITIONAL EASTER CANDLE MEMORIALS AND GIFT: Listed inside this week’s Parish Bulletin are some additional Easter candle memorials and gifts that were inadvertently omitted last week from the many other gifts noted. I apologize for the omission of these gifts. I will do my best to see that this doesn’t happen next time. Thanks again to the many who donated to this fund! THE PARISH EXTENDS ITS SYMPATHY to the following: to Patti Holweger and Carol Bjelde on the death of their mother, EILEEN STANCYK, whose funeral was Thursday at Warren, Minnesota; to Linda Martinson on the death of her sister DARLENE KIEHL, whose funeral was Thursday at Frazee, and to “Sam” Mattioli on the death of her sister, ANTOINETTE “TEDDY” FREEMAN, whose funeral will be on Monday in St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fargo. May they rest in the peace of Christ! SUMMER MASS TIMES AT HOLY ROSARY: After a couple weeks of gathering input of the times of the Sunday morning Masses at Holy Rosary we have concluded that we will change the Sunday morning Mass times to 8:00 and 10:00 A.M. The Sunday morning radio broadcast will be taped at 8:00 A.M. for broadcast at 9:00 A.M. This schedule will be go into effect on Memorial Day Weekend, Sunday, May 27 through Labor Day weekend, Sunday, September 2 when the schedule will return to the original times. We received several emails with comments and basket full of other com- ments at the Parish Office. Some commented on why or why not the change should or should not be made and others simply noted their “yes” or “no”. We realize that some like it the way it has been so they can spend time Sunday morning as they always have for years and others who say the earlier times gives them more time in the day for family time, lake time and just enjoying the summer. The Knights of Columbus, who sponsor the pancake and French toast breakfast on the first Sunday of the month have never been able to get home before 2:00 P.M. with the original schedule. Thanks for all your input. Let’s try it and see! We will take an assessment of the change in the fall!

Thought for the WeekWhat is real freedom Itrsquos

not a mark of freedom to simply be wildly different

we must be able to be free not to be different as well

At times we might want a soul that is free and a mind

that is strong but forget that these must be earned

The secret of both lies in self-control taking time to

reflect on our experiences and asking ―What did I

learn from them In the learning we would do well to

remember that our lives take many side roads before

we find the highways of the heart that take us home

And to remember that only by living well with others

can we discover who we really are what we really

need and what we have to give to the rest of the

world Real freedom is ours when we are on the path

of becoming all God intended us to be The poet Gi-

bran puts it this way ―You can muffle the drum and

you can loosen the strings of the lyre but who shall

command the skylark not to sing

Jesus asked me Who are you I answered I am

Your servant Lord You are guilty of one day of

fire in purgatory I wanted to throw myself imme-

stopped me and said Which do you prefer suffer

now for one day in purgatory or for a short while

on earth I replied Jesus I want to suffer in pur-

gatory and I want to suffer also the greatest pains on

earth even if it were until the end of the

world Jesus said One is enough you will go

back to earth and there you will suffer much but

not for long you will accomplish My will and My

desire and a faithful servant of Mine will help

you do this Now rest your head on My bosom

on My heart and draw fro it strength and power

Infant Baptism PreparationhellipNext session is

scheduled for Thursday June 7 700 ndash 815 pm in

the Holy Family Room If you are planning

to present your baby for Baptism please con-

tact the Parish Office (847-1393) before June

the preparation session

His Love Prayer and the Life of the Spirit

A blessed and safe summer to all catechists students

and their families Spend quality time with one an-

other and our Lord

Jesus asked me Who are you I answered I am

Your servant Lord You are guilty of one day of

fire in purgatory I wanted to throw myself imme-

diately into the flames of purgatory but Jesus

stopped me and said Which do you prefer suffer

now for one day in purgatory or for a short while

on earth I replied Jesus I want to suffer in pur-

gatory and I want to suffer also the greatest pains on

earth even if it were until the end of the

world Jesus said One is enough you will go

back to earth and there you will suffer much but

not for long you will accomplish My will and My

desire and a faithful servant of Mine will help

you do this Now rest your head on My bosom

on My heart and draw fro it strength and power

for these sufferings because you will find neither

relief nor help nor comfort anywhere else Know

that you will have much much to suffer but

donrsquot let this frighten you I am with you (Diary of St Faustina 36)

The Flock is starting to migrate northhellip
