Orchard View Community Education is sponsoring the annual arts and craft bazaar

on Saturday, November 21. Held at the Orchard View High School @ 16 N. Quarterline Road from 9am to 3pm, this will be a great event to spend the day with your friends while shopping the handmade items on display.

Orchard View District may get free passes to

Orchard View sporting events. Stop by our office, we look forward to seeing you.

Walking is available in the hallways of the OV Community Ed Center from 4 pm—6pm (Mon-Thurs).

OIL PAINTING Discover the world of oil painting. For the begin-ner, step-by-step instruction in the use of brush-es, mixing colors, composition and more. The advanced student can discover new ways to en-hance their painting with unusual effects. Each class has a lecture and demonstration with the remaining time devoted to open painting.

DRAWING CLASS If you enjoy sketching, this class is for you! Learning to draw is a surprisingly simple accomplish-ment that anyone can learn. The class will offer you the basic prin-ciples of art by drawing still life,

florals and anatomy. Materials needed: Spiral drawing pad, 6B pencil, kneaded eraser.

WOODCARVING CLUB A piece of wood, a little time, and this class can get you started making beautiful wood sculp-tures. If you are already working on a project, please bring it to your first class. All levels of ability including beginners welcome! Our more experienced woodcarvers will help you learn basic techniques.

WII BOWLING Join us and have a great time bowling without a ball!! No bowling balls or shoes needed!

GATHER TOGETHER DINNERS Dinner at 6:00 pm followed with the program/dance at 6:45 pm. Held at Orchard View Middle School. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Please bring your own table service. You must call 760-1493 by noon the Friday before each dinner to make your reservation! To cancel, please leave a message at 760-1493. Fee: $7.00 per person. COMPUTERS FOR GOLDEN AGERS Level 1 Do you have a computer and wonder what to do with it? In this class you will feel comfortable using your PC, getting around the operating sys-tem and organizing your files. Explore the inter-net, set up an email account and much more! This fun class is designed specifically for sen-iors. Meets twice a week Mondays & Wednes-days for four weeks.
