Memorandum of Understanding Between the National Security Council of Malaysia (NSC) and Singapore Civil Defence Force of the Republic of Singapore (SCDF) on Co-operation in Developing Urban Search and Rescue Capabilities” singed and Singapore Civil Defence Force appointed a Mentor

Mutual agreement between the NSC and Malaysian Armed Forces, Fire and Rescue Department and other relevant agencies to equipped SMART with certain capacity and capabilities. e.g Rescue Engineers, Doctors, Veterinarian, HAZMAT, Canine, etc.

• IN THE BEGINNING, IEC FOR SMART WILL BE IN SINGAPORE (USING THE SIMULATION SITE IN SINGAPORE)

• ACTIVATION WILL BE IN SMART BASE, (5 HOURS TO CROSS THE BORDER)

• CROSS BORDER CHECKING (TUAS CHECKPOINT)

• HAVE ONLY 5 MONTH TO COMPLETE THE CONSTRUCTION
