Once again, the SLU ComElec will promulgate and enforce the KASAMA/SSC Election Day on August 3, 2013 with integrity, credibility, impartiality and be part of history this year. The Central ComElec has the power to exercise exclusive jurisdiction over any contest relating to the elections and enforce all rules and regulations relative to the manner and conduct of an election of officers of the KASAMA/SSC.

The Psychological Testing Unit (PTU) of the Guidance Center will conduct a Free Personality Test for Students who will graduate this October 2013 and Third Year BSN, BMLS, BSHTM, and BS SWk students this August 2013. Details of the testing schedule shall be announced later in your classes and tarpaulins and posters will be posted on strategic areas in the University. For inquiries, please visit PTU at S-112, for the Main Campus and the Guidance Centers at D-816 and GD-403 for the Maryheights and Navy Base Campuses, respectively.
The Research and Statistical Services (RSS) desk of the REO offers consultancy and assistance in research and statistics. All its services are free of charge for University staff with formalized research responsibilities (such as research grantees and proponents, graduate faculty, undergraduate research promoters, and extension program grantees and proponents). Others can also avail of these services at very minimal fees.
RSS also conducts seminars and trainings. The first seminar/workshop is scheduled in the fourth week of August with the following theme and topics:
Theme: Research designs and the choice of appropriate statistical tools
Topics: 1. Research designs and their respective statistical methods 2. Designs of experiments and the corresponding statistical tools
