You can help during August bybringing some of the following items to place in ourChristmas boxes found in the hallways: wide-rulepaper, 3-prong folders w/pockets, pencils, glue sticks,Bibles, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes,shampoo, portable electric heaters and fans, baby

wipes, diapers, ziplock bags (quart and gallon),large heavy-duty trash bags, powdered laundry deter-gent (large size from Sam’s works well). If you wouldlike to give a Wal-Mart or Lifeway gift card, pleasegive these to Carolyn Jones or Ginger Andrew.

PROMOTION in SEPTEMBER Although children’s choir program begins August 7,we will not promote in Sunday School and missionsuntil the first week of September!!

Help Needed with BaptismAre you looking for a ministry in the church? Howabout serving in our baptism ministry? This is a rottion program lead by Billy and Brenda Pollard. We

Recycling for MissionsWe are collecting empty inkjetcartridges (no laser or tonercartridges) and used cellphones (no accessories). Placethese items in the ministry bas-kets located around the church. All proceeds gotoward Eastmont Mission Trips. Thank you forrecycling for missions.

Operation Christmas Child

This year we are asking all the Sunday Schoolclasses for help wrapping the shoe boxes as a classmission project. We have a supply of boxes andsome wrapping paper for your class to use, butscotch tape and old Christmas card fronts areneeded. Kickoff is October 16 and dedication isNovember 13.
