Ive laughed often as Ive read thefollowing diet plan.

Breakfast grapefruit1 piece whole wheat toast8 oz skim milkLunch4 oz lean broiled chicken1 cup steamed squash1 oreo cookieUnsweet teaDinner2 loaves of garlic breadLarge pepperoni pizza

    Drink anythingEntire cheesecake

I call that a good start but a poorfinish.

At Eastmont weve had a greatstart this year. Attendance is up,commitment is up, giving is up,enthusiasm is up. Lets finish 2011even stronger.

These connections are essentialfor any church. We must connectwith God, connect with one another

and connect with the world. Ourvision is simple, Connecting peopleto Christ.

Being tolerant is a big issue in oursociety. Yet true believers cannotbe tolerant of everything. Therecomes a point when wholesaleaccommodation is detrimental to achurch and society. The church hassurvived many life-threateningstorms by boldly asserting its corebeliefs. We stand upon the truth of

Gods Word. While we respect thosewho disagree, we must never besilent about right and wrong. MartinLuther in the 1500s said, Here Istand. God help me, Amen.Anything less is more tolerance thanwe can tolerate.
