TALENT MANAGEMENT & LC DEVELOPMENT

OVERALL ROLE

To plan and supervise the execution of recruitment, human resource management, leadership selection, training & development of AIESEC in Ethiopia’s membership.

To drive, support and track the delivery of the integrated learning experiences to enabling a high quality of AIESEC Experience for members

To ensure the understanding and steering of the organization towards AIESEC 2015 and driving organization performance in programmes. Also considering Ethiopia’s realities and adapting to them.

YOUTH TALENT RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION

Coordinate the strategic HR planning on local level

Close cooperation with MC VP Marketing & PR for Talent Marketing , create the right promotion campaigns to attract the talent needed

Coordinate the planning & education of the selection and allocation process TALENT LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

Manage, update, and track the national TMP and TLP education cycle

come up with innovative strategies to increase education • create and manage partnerships with external organizations such as learning partners

which will add value in our membership development

manage lead program for all programs TEAM MINIMUMS AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

Create and implement Talent capacity strategies to drive and increase X realization

Ensure the education, tracking, and fulfillment of the 6 Team Minimums TM PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

Assure and provide knowledge in the TM area for the TM responsibles

give guidelines and facilitate the design and implementation of the local TM activities AGENDA MANAGEMENT OF ALL NATIONAL CONFERENCES

Define the objectives and education covered in all national conferences according to the TMP and TLP Education Cycle

Select and coordinate the FACI team for all national conferences

Work directly with the Conference Manager LC COACHING

Implementing a coaching strategy for the LCs together with the MC team

Tracking LC coaches and evaluating the coaching system

OUT GOING EXCHANGE AND EXPANSIONS OVERALL ROLE

• To drive, coordinate, support & track the overall management of the AIESEC’s Global Internship Program and Global Community

• Development Program for OGX within national and local committee levels. • To ensure expansions driving our OGX programs

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MANAGEMENT • Ensure customer satisfaction for GCDP and GIP • drive constant innovation in customer servicing process for both GCDP and GIP • create and manage partnerships with external organizations which will add value to our

customers • constant tracking, evaluation, auditing and reporting of customer satisfaction in the area • conduct education (commission trainings and updates, 1on1 education) to VPs and build

a customer centric culture in the portfolio and the LCs • work closely with entity control board (ECB) for quality experiences • work on fire-fighting for any customer issues and also solveICB case if there are any

SUPPLY AND DEMAND ALIGNMENT

• Develop understanding of supply & demand for GIP and GCDP • run research to find out the different universities/institutions/organizations/communities

which have the potential for GIP and GCDP • partnership management (research, establishment, providing promotion support for PRM

and ensuring delivery) with other AIESEC entities to ensure fast matching, quality TNs and standards provided to our EPs

• work with marketing to develop the right messages and channels for promotion to recruit the right ‘EPs

EXPANSIONS AND SPECIALIZED UNITS DEVELOPMENT

• Co-ordinate NST expansion manager and ensure sustainability of the existing expansions

• Conduct research of the market in Ethiopia and define possible expansion strategies • Capitalize on new expansion initiatives to drive OGX • Identify which specialized or expansion units are most suitable for the upcoming year to

focus on in order to fully establish them. • Create and support a growth model specialized for SUs that are already operating. • manage and coordinate the forming process of specialized unit (for those that are only

focused on OGX) • run education cycle which focuses on OGX knowledge for specialized and expansion

units • main person from MC in tracking and coaching expansion and specialized unit that just

(plan to) operate or focus in OGX PROCESS OPTIMIZATION

• Increase efficiency of the OGX process for both GIP and GCDP • Create a growth plan for GCDP boosting the results. (project based GCDP recruitment)

• responsible for conversion rates throughout the customer flow (for ex. “sign up” to “in progress” / “in progress” to “match”)

• develop processes which will increase the efficiency of members in driving exchanges (increase exchange/member ratio)

• create a strategy to facilitate and boost out IXP experiences • Customization of the OGX processes according to the value proposition of each GIP and

GCDP sub-products and issues. LEAD MANAGEMENT

• Adapt and develop further the lead frameworks of GIP and GCDP according to the leadership development model

• Create an implementation plan and tracking method for LCs to make use of it. (alignment of experiences throughout the entity)

• Coordinate with entity partnerships both incoming and outgoing preparations for an ensured co-delivery of the program.

FINANCE & LEGAL AND ALUMINI RELATIONS OVERALL ROLE

To generate, sustain and develop partnerships that supports the running of AIESEC in

Ethiopia by increasing financial sustainability

To ensure the financial cash flow and business sustainability of AIESEC Ethiopia

Ensure legal compliance of all AIESEC Processes and increase legal sustainability of

the entity

Final responsible on financial management

Final responsible on Alumni relations management

MC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT • Budget creation, management and analysis • financial documentation and accounting in the mc • constant cost and revenue control (budget and cash flow management) • providing information and scenarios for strategic decisions • long term financial management, reserves planning and management • external and internal accountability (reporting, external and internal audit preparation) • bank management • handling of AI country balance and distribution of MC/AI fees and TCS • assure that financial part of global membership criteria is met •

NATIONAL CONTROLLING OBLIGATIONS • Consult, support and control financial management and accounting of LCs • coordinate education to ensure short and long term sustainability within the LCs • coordinate national implementation of strategies and collaboration amongst the LC VPs

(commission) • coordinate and advice on the proper usage of internal funds (investment fund) and

grants • control and support proper audits in all LCs • coordination and support national funds research & applications • assure proper knowledge management and learning on finance and legality • knowledge management of transition processes in the MC and support for LC EBs • manage and track the finance national support team according to key areas of

development and strategies outlined in planning • Manage and track MC inventory (office & flats) • coordinate all logistical matters concerning the MC members (flats, phones,

transportation) LEGAL MANAGEMENT

• Ensure legal presence of all MC members • ensure legality of AIESEC in Ethiopia within the Ethiopian law • keep AIESEC in Ethiopia compendium up to date • provide legal advice on visa processes for LCs

CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT

• Conference management of all national conferences according to the conference cycle • consult, support and if necessary, control conference finances

INCOMING EXCHANGE GCDP OVERALL ROLE

• To drive, coordinate, support & track the overall management of the AIESEC’s Global Community Development Program for ICX and Projects within national and local committee levels.

EXCHANGE MANAGEMENT • Ensure quality and quantity of exchange experiences • constant tracking, evaluation and reporting of exchange performance of all levels • support LCs in matching, tracking and delivery • education and skill building around exchange and leadership processes • identify and realize national and international cooperation opportunities • strategic management of iGCDP processes • opportunities’ auditing on the platform • provide LC coaches with relevant information regarding performance • exchange quality strategy development and management • ensure the education and implementation of XPP • ensure that exchange is legal in the country • standards and satisfaction implementation and monitoring
