The Section 1114 Committee of Retired Employees (the “Retiree Committee”) of AMR

Corporation and certain subsidiaries (collectively, the “Debtors”) appointed in the

above-captioned jointly administered chapter 11 cases (the “Chapter 11 Cases”) submits this third

and final application the (“Application”) for reimbursement of expenses incurred by Retiree

Committee members (the “Members”) for the period of June 1, 2012 through October 21, 2013

(the “Application Period”) in connection with these Chapter 11 Cases, and respectfully submits:

Background

1. On December 1, 2012, the United States Trustee filed the Report of the United

States Trustee Noticing the Appointment of the Non-Union Retirees Pursuant to Section 1114(d)

and Recommending the Authorized Representatives Pursuant to Section 1114(c) (Docket No.

2398) (the “Appointment Report”).

2. On May 3, 2012, this Court entered the Order Approving Recommendation of

United States Trustee with Respect to Authorized Representatives of Labor Organizations for

Retiree Committee (Docket No. 2581) (the “Appointment Order”).

3. On January 31, 2013, the Retiree Committee filed its First Application for

Reimbursement of Expenses Incurred by Individual Committee Members for the Period April 20,

2012 Through October 30, 2012 (Dkt. No. 6505) in which it sought $3,646.55 in expenses.

4. On May 31, 2013, the Retiree Committee filed its Second Application for

Reimbursement of Expenses Incurred by Individual Committee Members for the Period

November 1, 2012 Through March 31, 2013 (Dkt. No. 8525) in which it sought $450.68 in

expenses.

5. The members of the Retiree Committee have not incurred any additional expenses

since March 31, 2013, and have been paid by the Debtors for the expenses sought in the First

Committee Member Application and the Second Committee Member Application.

Jurisdiction and Venue

6. This Court has jurisdiction over this Application pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 157 and

1334. This matter is a core proceeding pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 157(b). Venue is proper

pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 1408 and 1409. The statutory basis for the relief sought herein is 11

U.S.C. § 503(b)(3)(F).

Relief Requested

7. By this Application, the Retiree Committee requests entry of an order, approving

on a final basis, the Debtors’ reimbursement of the expenses of the Members incurred during the

Application Period, as set forth below, as administrative expenses of the Debtors.

8. The Members request final approval of the reimbursement of expenses in the

aggregate amount of $4,097.23, as set forth in the table below. Such expenses relate to the

(i) attendance by the Members at a meeting with the Debtors in Washington, D.C. and

(ii) attendance by the Members at the court hearing on the Plaintiff’s Motion for Summary

Judgment, Case No. 12-1744, held on January 23, 2013.

9. This is the Retiree Committee’s final application for reimbursement of expenses

incurred by its Members in discharge of their Retiree Committee responsibilities.

10. The Retiree Committee submits that the Members’ expenses in the amount of

$4,097.23 were properly paid as administrative expenses of the Debtors’ estates under section

503(b)(3)(F) of the Bankruptcy Code.

WHEREFORE, the Committee respectfully requests that the Court allow the expenses

incurred by the Members, on a final basis, as reflected in Exhibits A through E attached hereto.
