Largest ethnic medical organization in the United States and

2nd largest organized medical association after AMA

Umbrella organization representing over 150 local chapters/

Alumni/ Specialty Organizations

Represents the interests of over 60,000 practicing physicians of

Indian origin, medical students and medical residents

15,000 Medical students and residents are of Indian heritage

15% of Graduating medical students are of Indian Origin

high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes
