CALL TO WORSHIP (Ps. 95) Mark Polcer Leader: Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our

salvation. People: Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and

song. Leader: For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods. People: In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to

him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Leader: Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; People: For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his

care. All: Let us worship God! SONGS OF PRAISE Glorify Thy Name (see insert) Give Thanks (see insert) CHILDREN’S MESSAGE Pastor Fred Woodward CONFESSION OF SIN (unison)

Merciful God, our judge and redeemer, we confess that we have not lived up to our calling to be your disciples. We have lived for ourselves, and apart from you. We have turned from our neighbors, and refused to bear the burdens of others. We have ignored the pain of the world, and passed by the hungry, the poor, and the oppressed. We have failed to recognize you among the least of these.

In your great mercy, forgive our sins and free us from our habits of selfishness. In your providence, help us to choose your will and obey your commandments, through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
