Annual Cemetery Blessing

The annual Cemetery Blessing at Immaculate Concep-

tion will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd. There

will be a special All Soul’s Day Mass at Immaculate

Conception at 6:00 pm. After Mass, we will have a

candle lit procession to the cemetery for the blessing

of the cemetery and of the individual graves.

Memorial Candles

Once again this year, we will remember our deceased

family and friends with the Memorial Candles during

the month of November. If you have candles from last

year, you may bring them in any time and place in the

back of church. The votive candle inserts are $2.00

and last for about a week. The cost for the month for

each memorial candle insert is around $10 if you want

to help offset the cost to the parish. The cost for a

new candle plus insert is $12. Money may be placed in

your return candle or dropped in the collection basket

at any Mass. Requests for new candles may be placed

in the collection basket or call the parish office at 693-

9578.

From the Pastor’s Desk

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Blessings to you!

Here are several prayers that I’ve mentioned in homilies. Some

people have been asking for them.

1. Heavenly Father,

in the name of Jesus,

send me your Holy Spirit

and renew me.

2. Jesus Prayer:

Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior

have mercy on me, a sinner.

3. Jesus Christ, be with me, take away from me all evil spirits —

from me, my property, and from the perimeter of my property.

Fill me and all the spaces of my property and perimeter with

Your Precious Blood and Holy Spirit.

And a great thought from Saint Bruno:

“As the world changes,

The cross stands firm.”

I love you all. Many spiritual delights of the Holy Spirit of Jesus

to each and every one of you and your family, friends, and

neighbors.

Peace and Joy,

Fr. Drew

Prayer Requests

• Please pray for a parishioner recovering from

surgery for quick healing.

• Please pray for those who are serving in the military

and their families.

• Please pray for a parishioner having tests for good re-

sults.

Ege Rosary News

This year the Immaculate Concep-

tion Rosary Society is participating

in Cross Catholic Outreach Box of

Joy project. You can pick up your

box in the church basement during

the month of October and bring it

back by the end of the month along

with $9 to cover the cost of ship-

ping.

There are gift suggestions when

you pick up your box. Our goal is to

pack 50 boxes to send to a develop-

ing country for a child in need. If

you are not able to shop but still want to help, you can donate

money to help cover the cost of sending a box. See Kim Fulkerson

or email at [email protected] for any questions. For more in-

formation about the Box of Joy project visit: https://

crosscatholic.org/box-of-joy/.
