    Mr. Randy Dennis/St. Mary’s Principal

Hello everyone. We are starting a brand new fundraiser today. PK-7 were all given packets to take home. The items they are selling are all practical items. They are things that anyone is likely to use around the home. We are also doing a 5 gallon bucket laundry detergent sale on the back side of the form. The due date for all forms and money/checks is September 17. In conjunction with the practical item sale, we are launching a brand new, online clothing store. The clothing store has a variety of items you can purchase. A portion of all sales go directly to the school. You can visit the store at https://www.athfundraising.com/st-mary-s . Please note that some of the items fit within the dress code and can be worn on uniform days. Some of the items are appropriate for out of uniform days and weekends. Purchases can be shipped anywhere in the country for a fee, or be delivered to the school for FREE. More items will be added in the coming days. Thank you for your help in promoting the fundraiser. Please let us know of questions you may have. Pickup day for all sales will be announced after the fundraiser is completed. God bless.

  • Word for This Week Source: https://www.salfordliturgy.org.uk/ordinary23a.htm

Jesus tells a dramatic story in the Gospel, to make a very important point: the desperate need in our world for forgiveness and reconciliation. How many chances do we give each other? As many as seven? How often do we shut doors on people, even family and friends, saying “That’s it; you’ve just gone too far this time: never again”? When Jesus says that we must forgive “seventy-seven” times, he implies that we never

stop forgiving, whatever happens. He doesn’t just say this, however: even when they do the worst thing that could be done to him, nailing him to a cross, Jesus puts these words into practice: “Father, forgive them...” as his disciples, we must do likewise.”

NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING CLASSES Artificial Birth Control is a moral wrong. Come learn the Christian Way. A Natural Family Planning class will be held Sunday, September 13th, from 9AM until 12Noon at the St. Louis Parish Office, Batesville, IN, (13 St. Louis Place, the building between the school and the church.) This class is taught in one session. The Sympto-Thermal method is 98% effective, natural, and safe. There is a $40.00 fee for the books and materials. Life Chain 2020 The Knights of Columbus, Respect Life Committee members and all Pro-Life Christians are asked to participate in our local Life Chain 2020 on October 4th, which is Respect Life Sunday. The Life Chain will be between 2 pm and 3 pm, lead by Knight of Columbus and Respect Life members in solidarity along U.S. 50 in Lawrenceburg. Life Chain IS NOT political or confrontational. Life Chain IS a silent prayer vigil by Christians to communicate their opposition to Abortion. Participants prayerfully display signs which state the truth about abortion. It is an opportunity for local churches to unite in prayer and stand up for the

rights of the unborn. Life Chain 2020 will be along U.S. 50 between Walnut and Front Street in Lawrenceburg. Everyone who believes in the protection of the unborn children and their mothers is invited to participate. Signs will be provided, or bring your own. (No political signs; everyone already knows where Biden and President Trump stand on this issue.) James 2:26 tells us that “Faith without Work is Dead”. If we believe Abortion is wrong, let’s take action and be a part of Life

    Chain 2020. Go

p.s. - Above is a photo of the many types of signs one might see along U. S. 50 during Life Chain 2020.
