Dear parish family, 29 Sunday C WELCOME TO OUR PARISH FAMILY BAZAAR! Let’s all have a parish family fun and strengthen our parish bonding as a community of faith through our fellowships. The food, games, all other activities are all simply the means towards the end, which is our fraternity and soli-darity to support one another in this parish. With this fun and social day we also hope for some financial gain that we can use for non budg-eted items such as necessary repairs or maintenance of church properties throughout the year. In behalf of the parish, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your love and devotion to the parish which you concretely express through your financial donations, sponsorships, buying raffle tickets, giving gifts, and many varied items for Silent Auction, etc.. And surely we truly appreciate all those who work hard behind the scene and right there on the scene through the whole bazaar day attending many things to make things work. Thank you Booth Sponsors (sorry I don’t have the names listed at this time of writing), and all the volunteers who manned them. Good things happen because of them. Thank you Bazaar Chairman, Jim Hughes, and those who are assisting him - Al Pena, Savanna Cashi, Renee Cortez and Bazaar Committee, most especially Cheryl Frobenius, who got the brunt of the work in all preparations! Also the parish office staff Peggy & Debbie. Also many thanks for the big help from the Knights of Columbus, and many others – too many names to mention, so my apology if I can’t mention all. Because of you we have a successful and wonderful bazaar! And congratulations in advance the winners of the Raffles and the big winner of the whole event, the Parish church! This Sunday is World Mission Sunday. Pope Francis reminds us that we can respond to our missionary call not only by prayers but concrete-ly also through charity in form of our yearly contribution to support more than 1,100 mission dioceses, in territories covering more than half the globe. Our second collection this weekend is for the Propagation of the Faith (please use your Mission envelopes). This yearly contribu-tions will support priests, religious, and lay pastoral leaders who are proclaiming the Gospel, building the Church and serving the poor and most vulnerable half a world away. Their work and witness to Christ brings practical help and God’s love, hope and peace. This day however in this parish we have a special “mission”: to have a successful Bazaar! Enjoy the Bazaar and Blessings to all! Fr. Tony Querida familia parroquial, 29 domingo C ¡BIENVENIDO A NUESTRO BAZAR FAMILIAR DE LA PARROQUIA!

Fr. Tony
