He has focused his professional e"orts exclusively in the area of improved cookstoves for the past eight years and consulted in several countries for GIZ, EPA, and WFP.

Minh Cuong Le Quan, COO: Minh spent the past 15 years working on a broad range of issues in developing countries, such as Co2solidaire.org, the 1 million clean cookstoves project in Cambodia with GERES, and Nexus C4D, a global carbon !nance cooperative which he designed and chaired.

Walt Pounds, Vice President: Walt brings 30+ years of management experience with both Fortune 500 companies and venture capital funded start-ups. He is an entrepreneur at heart, starting his own business (Solbourne) in IT services, which over 15 years grew to $30M in revenue and 125 employees. He is a member of Social Venture Partners, Investor Circle, Unreasonable Angels, Social Venture Network and serves on the board of CaraSolva and the Imagine Foundation

Anandan Sundaramurthy, Director of Manufacturing and Co-Owner: Anandan is a manufacturer with 20 years of experience in both conventional mass produc-tion technologies and modern, #exible production technologies that are critical to making stoves. His skill in both has allowed Prakti to become the !rst stove company to master “mass customization,” selling stoves in 4 di"erent countries on 3 continents.
