Mula sa perspektibo ng MAMIMILIHugasang mabuti ang mga prutas at gulay gamit ang malinis o maiinom na

tubig na may kaunting sabon sa loob ng isang minuto o higit pa bago banlawan ang mga ito upang mabawasan ang ibang pesticide residue.

Maaari ding gumamit ng malambot na brush para sa mga prutas at gulay na matigas at may magaspang na balat.
