( Planning your Exchanges Internal)Research

Internal research is fundamental in increasing exchange numbers in your LC. Due to:ii)Internal research enables you to raise exchanges according to the type of EP background available.iii)Internal research assists in raising TNs through selling the EPs CV to the company to show them what they might be getting.

month.0 Hedge against low exchange seasons (sept-dec and march-

How to Generate LC Partnerships1. PlanningLC partnerships should be mutually beneficial and should be maximized on by

your LC. The following should be considered:iii) Your ICX PipelineThis should answer the following questions:e) When do we need to realize exchanges?f) Which other country is realizing exchanges during this time?g) Which are the top performing LCs in these countries?h) How many TNs can we offer these LCs?ii) LC research:This should answer the following questions:k) What kind of EPs do these countries offer?l) What are the EPs backgrounds these LCs can raise? Can we raise similar

TNs for them?m) What’s their EPs duration period?

2. LC-LC partnership document:The partnerships document should have (see example on this link):iii)Feasible number of exchanges shared between the two LCs.iv)Activities required for each LC to do with set timelines.v)The backgrounds required for each LC to raise (specifications on the

USP conducted pocket recruitments for TT EPs to send to Jaipur for their project Phoenix, resulting in successful realization of 8 exchanges between the 2 LCs.

, , : ECI Colombia & Hyderabad IndiaECI conducted pocket recruitment for TT EPs to send to Hyderabad for their project Phoenix, resulting in successful realization of 7 exchanges between the 2 LCs

, , :Tokyo Japan & Mumbai IndiaTokyo LC recruits & sends MT EPs to Mumbai for companies that have specific requirements from Japan. Cy visits was also part of this partnership from both sides.

DAAL Files UseDefinition: “DAAL files offers you the exchange statistics of AIESEC

countries and LCs. How each entity is performing each quarter and also which EP/TN backgrounds are in demand across the network”

and MCs to work with (which LCs and MCs are top performing and how to partner with them).

0 DAAL files also helps you know which EP backgrounds are in demand and for you to raise according to that number (target raising).

Definition:“ Available forms tracker has all the information for EP/TNs that are available and when they want to be realized”

0 It’s a source of EP contacts.0 Gives more information on what kind of TNs to raise in

the future and which Countries or LCs to match them with.

To fully utilize the available forms:v)Sort the forms into manageable chunks with your

preferences.vi)Don’t spam EPs one message (check how to use mail

merge for matching wiki).

LC Promotion and Branding

Definition:“ if you say nothing about your product someone will say it for you”0Promotion of your LC lifts your profile in the AIESEC network making it much easier to attract EPs to your LC and getting quick matches.0Branding your LCs during international conferences is also a viable source of getting publicity.
