Advantages

Racks for bringing in power supply systems and measurement and testing equipment

Elabo offers a multitude of electronic cassettes and electronic inserts, from the central fuse protection and switch unit to the emergency-off switch, all the way to AC and DC stabilisers and to other devices such as function generators or multi- meters. This means that the 3HU racks can support the devices of the 3HU system and the 6HU racks can support the devices of both the 3HU and the 6HU systems. Versions in 19" are possible.

Storage elements and shelves The use of InForm profiles creates ad-ditional storage surfaces. For instance, by keeping individual handheld devices for further measurement at hand.

Shelf unit racks Elabo offers not only the materials but also well-thought-out solutions for worksta-tion design. For instance with shelf racks, which can also be fastened above a meas-urement and testing rack. This means that every employee has his or her devices in place, and can. if necessary also store them away from third-party access in a lockable roller shutter cabinet.

InForm racks are fitted between the vertical profiles and thus ensure a

generous amount of open working table surface. Devices are installed directly

in the 3HU and 6HU racks, additional devices or other objects can be placed on

top of or in them in the case of shelf or storage racks.



Advantages

Supply

All built-in components are supplied through a network bus rail. Inserts are guided exactly through the also modifi-able guide rails and connected securely to the network bus. The connectors are designed for operation with mains volt-age 400 V / 16 A AC.

Desktop racks 6HU

Elabo table racks, systems 6HU / 19" can hold insert plates and inserts. The re-quired access to the rear Z profile rails is always guaranteed due to the removable aluminium rear wall.

Aluminium

The vertical struts divide the desktop rack in the changeable width grid. They are therefore screwed onto the profile frame so that they can be removed. The cage nuts used allow the inserts to be mounted securely.

Desktop racks 3HU

On the desktop racks 3HU, the aluminium profile running longitudinally along the bottom of the unit lends additional sup-port to the sturdy frame construction. The required access to the rear Z profile rails is always guaranteed due to the removable aluminium rear wall.

The Elabo 3 HU eurocassette mains supply is carried out via the high-power connector with leading ground contact mounted on the rear side.

Unit

All Elabo desktop racks are made of 19 mm thick multiple-layer plywood. Thanks to the melamine resin coating, they are abrasion-proof and anti-glare.

The exception is the 3HU aluminium channel. This is made of a stable extruded aluminium profile. Thanks to the surround-ing groove of the channel, accessories such as illumination or gauges can be mounted there.

The light grey coated extruded aluminium profile makes the power supply duct suit-able for the installation of simple power supply systems. Thanks to the surround-ing grooves, a multitude of accessories can be securely fastened in place, e.g. workstation lights, TFT holders or gauges.

AttachmentThe channel is fastened between the vertical profiles, which means that it can be fitted at variable heights – can also be modified after a purchase. Furthermore,

it can also be combined with other objects, e.g. with a storage element. 3 cable outlets each on the side and underneath allow simple cable routing.

WiringAlready designed with a 3-phase central wiring, the supply channel can be equipped immediately.

EquipmentFor the equipping of the channels, the insert plates from the 3HU system

of the Elabo Electronics range can be utilised in the 5.08 mm separation grid pursuant to DIN 41494 (1HP = 5.08 mm).

Standardised separation grid3HU desktop racks are prepared for hold-ing 3HU front panels and 3HU inserts from the Elabo Electronics range in a 5.08 mm separation grid acc. DIN 41494 (1HP = 5.08 mm).

Other brands which accord to this stand-ard can also easily be installed into the racks.

Material and set-upThe rack body is made of 19 mm-thick, 3-layer fine chipboard in light grey. The 19" separation grid mechanism is integrated into the unit; longitudinal aluminium profiles at the front and the rear enable installation of the inserts.

At the rear, a removable aluminium back wall and an aluminium cooling profile run-ning along the front facilitate practical heat transmission.

ErgonomicsThe ergonomic 10° incline of the operat-ing front panel makes it easier for users to work at the bench racks, and makes the display easy to read.

Bearing loadElabo racks are connected with a basic carrier or terminal for particularly high stability.

ShelvesThe cut edges have plastic edge strips. Depending on the width of the shelf racks, one or two height-adjust-able shelves are supplied.

InstallationWith vertical profiles, to be ordered separately, and a terminal or the basic rack, the shelf unit racks can be installed over the tabletop.

If a cable feed is required, it can be carried out via cable clamps in the vertical profiles.

MaterialShelf racks can be used to store devices and files. They are complete with one rear wall made of 19 mm-thick, melamine resin-coated 3-layer fine chipboard panels.

Roller shutters / sliding doorsVersions with either roller shutters or sliding doors with lock are available. With this version, the front of the shelf is not inclined.

Material and benefitsStorage elements consisting of a 30 mm-thick and melamine resin-coated 3-layer fine chipboard with postformed edge at front. With this extra storage level, the tabletop remains completely free of measurement devices and files etc.

ExtendableThe storage elements can be retrofitted as a third level onto InForm system tables at any time. To do this, you need additional height profiles and a terminal or a basic rack.

The use of the base rack and the organi-sation panel, the cables can be placed efficiently, even when third-party devices are utilised.

The functional shelf can be mounted on all desktop racks and attachment elements between the vertical profiles – within easy reach above the work surface, as a third level for storage of measurement devices. The table surface remains clear. The shelf is continuously height-adjustable and can be inclined forwards or backwards by 30°. In addition, it is self-supporting, i.e. it is used without basic rack or terminal.

Anti-slip protectionThe functional shelves have extruded aluminium profiles powder coated in light grey with grooves at the front and rear. A recessed fibre rail prevents the devices slipping when inclined. Functional shelf
