Cristo vive
Esta es la gran verdad que lle-na de contenido nuestra fe. Jesús, que murió en la cruz, ha resucitado, ha triunfado de la muerte, del poder de las tinieblas, del dolor y de la an-gustia.
“No temáis”, con esta invoca-ción saludó un ángel a las mujeres que iban al sepulcro; “no temáis; vo-sotras venís a buscar a Jesús Naza-reno, que fue crucificado: ya resucitó,
no está aquí”. El tiempo pascual es tiempo de alegría, de una alegría que no se limita a esa época del año litúrgico, sino que se asienta en todo momento en el corazón del cristiano. Porque Cristo vive: Cristo no es una figura que pasó, que existió en un tiempo y que se fue, dejándonos un recuerdo y un ejemplo maravillosos. No: Cristo vive. Jesús es el Emmanuel: Dios con nosotros. Su Resurrec-ción nos revela que Dios no abandona a los suyos. (Es Cristo que pa-sa.-102).
Jesús, estás vivo. “Esta es la gran verdad que llena de conte-nido nuestra fe”. La vida cristiana no consiste en seguir unas pala-bras más o menos profundas, en tener unos sentimientos más o me-nos solidarios con los demás hombres, o en realizar una serie de ac-tos externos más o menos distraídos o emocionantes. “No,: Cristo vive”. Y ser cristiano es, precisamente, vivir tu vida: una vi-da de hijos de Dios por la gracia, que nace con el Bautismo y se refuerza con los demás sacramentos, con la oración y las buenas obras. El tiempo pascual es un tiempo de alegría: Alegraos, pues la alegría es propia de los hijos de Dios.

Christ lives
This is the great truth that fills our faith with content. Jesus, who died on the cross, has risen, has triumphed over death, over the power of darkness, pain and anguish. “Do not be afraid”, with this invocation an angel greeted the women who went to the tomb; “Do not be afraid, you come to look for Jesus Nazareno, who was crucified: he has already been resu-rrected, he is not here”. The Easter season is a time of joy, of a joy that is not limited to that time of the liturgical year, but is based at all times in the heart of the Christian. Because Christ lives: Christ is not a figure that passed, that existed in a time and that left, leaving us a wonderful memory and example. No: Christ lives. Jesus is Emmanuel: God with us. His Resurrection reveals to us that God does not abandon his people. (It is Christ who passes.-102). Jesus, you are alive. “This is the great truth that fills our faith with content.” The Christian life does not consist in following so-me more or less deep words, in ha-ving more or less solidarity feelings with other men, or in performing a series of external acts more or less distracted or exciting. “No ,: Christ lives.” And being a Christian is, pre-cisely, living your life: a life of chil-dren of God by grace, born with Baptism and reinforced with the ot-her sacraments, with prayer and good works. Easter time is a time of joy: Rejoice, for joy is proper to the children of God.

Bible Summer Class for Children & Youth-

Parents are invited to register their children for
Bible classes in the summer. The registrations will
be open all the month of June and the first week
of July of the present year. Last year, 90 children
and 40 young people participated. We hope this
year will increase attendance.

lia en el veano. Las registraciones estaran abiertas todo el mes de junio y
la primera semana de Julio del presente año. El año pasado participaron

The Parish Rosary Program
It is a simple matter of collecting tally sheets which paris-hioners drop in the collection basket of the number rosa-
ries prayed and publishing weekly, year-to-date and grand totals each week your parish bulletin. In one Michigan parish, St. Philip
Battle Creek, over the past 19 years, more than 237,000 rosaries have been prayed. The Parish Rosary Program has inspired many people to
pray the rosary on a regular basis who would not otherwise do so.
Never before has rosaries been so needed for reparation for sin, world peace, political civility, the end of abortion, souls in purgatory, the inten-tions of the Holy Father, discernment between Good and evil, vocations, lukewarm and fallen away Catholics, marriages, and those in the most need of God’s mercy.
There is no better way to say “Yes” to Blessed Mother.
