The flooring screw with the contraction effect
The HECO-UNIX-top has been speciallydesigned for flooring
applications. The fullthread of the HECO-UNIX-top floorboardscrew
with its variable thread pitch effectivelypulls boards together.
The “clamping effect”of the screws draws the board onto
thesubstructure, resulting in a gap-free finish.In addition the
thread secures the boardaxially, which prevent the annoying
creaking
sound of the boards “jacking effect”.Countersinking of the screw
head, can bedone neatly and easily, due to the underhead milling
ribs which self-countersink intothe surface without splintering the
woodaround the edge of the screw.
There is no need for pre-drilling and theHECO-UNIX-top
floorboard screw meetseven the most demanding aesthetic
requirements.
