    This meeting is being held in conformity to the Open Public Meetings Act N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq. Properpublic notice of the meeting was published in the local papers on October 13 and October 14, 2012.

    If any Board member or member of the public in attendance believes that the meeting is in violation ofthe Open Public Meetings Act, the Hoboken Board of Education requests that they make a statement at

    this time.

    The Board wishes to make those in attendance aware that this meeting is being recorded on video and willbe broadcast by the Board at a later date on CATV Channel 77.

    RESOLVED, that the Board of Education, upon recommendation of the Superintendent, approved in

    accordance with the policy and practice of the NJ Department of Education Office of Public SchoolChoice, and pursuant to the circumstances noted below, I hereby recommend updating all Hoboken PublicSchools' records to convert the following student from Resident status to School Choice status for allreporting and funding purposes:

    SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF WORKSHOPS

    RESOLVED, that the Board of Education, upon recommendation of the Superintendent, approves thefollowing workshops:

    WHEREAS, N.J.A.C. 6A:23B-1.1 et. seq. requires that each board of education adopt a formal policy andprocedures relating to travel and expense reimbursement for its employees and board members; and

    WHEREAS, the School District of the Hoboken Board of Education (the Board) adopted a TravelExpense Reimbursement Policy that addresses the reimbursement of travel-related expenses by Board

    members and employees of the District; and

    WHEREAS, the Board has considered all other relevant guidelines and circulars associated with theadoption of its Travel Expense Reimbursement Policy; and

    WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the travel listed in this Resolution is educationally necessaryand fiscally prudent; and

    WHEREAS, the Board has concluded that the travel and expense reimbursement listed in this Resolutionare directly related to and within the scope of the employees current responsibilities; and

    WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the travel and expense reimbursements listed in this

    Resolution are for travel that promotes the delivery of instruction or furthers the efficient operation of theschool district; and

    WHEREAS, the Board has concluded that the travel and expense reimbursement listed in this Resolutionare in compliance with State travel reimbursement guidelines as established by the Department ofTreasury and incorporated herein;

    1. TD Bank, N.A. (the Bank) is designated as a depository for the funds of the Board and toprovide other financial accommodations indicated in this resolution.

    2. This resolution shall continue to have effect until express written notice of its rescission ormodification has been received and recorded by the Bank. Any and all prior resolutions adoptedby the President and Members of the Board and certified to the Bank as governing the operationof this Boards account(s) are in full force and effect, until the Bank received and acknowledgesan express written notice of its revocation, modification or replacement. Any revocation,modification or replacement of a resolution must be accompanied by documentation, satisfactoryto the Bank, establishing the authority for the changes.

    3. The signatures of the Board Secretary and School Business Administrator on this resolution areconclusive evidence of their authority to act on behalf of the Government Unit. The Board
