• A lot of drama made up the slate in the latter half of the year, and it didn’t really play well with the domestic or international crowds.

• Action made up a large chunk of the slate, and the two in May played fantastically well worldwide.

• China didn’t play a huge factor.

• Comedy payed off for Warner Bros. and their 2015 slate.

• Int’l made up 57%.

Comedy Action Drama Sci-Fi Super HeroRomance Thriller Horror Family Fantasy

• The main takeaway from their 2016 slate is that they have a nice, diverse slate.

• More Super Hero and Fantasy fare.

• 30% of the slate is comedy.• Family films are down a bit

overall, but they’ve never relied too much on that category.

• Nice Oscar bait starting in September.

• Plays well with the Int’l crowd.

Comedy Action Drama Sci-Fi Super HeroRomance Thriller Horror Family Fantasy

• Comparing 2015 to 2016, you can see that the Warner Bros. slate is more diverse in terms of its Super Hero, Fantasy and Thriller categories.

• These three categories appear to be the most promising contributors to their final 2016 box-office haul at the moment.

• They’ve decreased their Drama fare in 2016, which might be a good thing considering that most of their drama films last year didn’t pan out as well as they might have hoped.

• Funny = money, and they’ve kept their Comedy a top priority.

• Less Drama when compared with the previous year.

• Plays more towards the International crowd with the increase in Super Hero and Fantasy fare.
