The following is a record of what was done during the past week and a forecast of the next week.....
A General Note before we start- New premises
The new premises.... Most works have now been completed- well done to all for their efforts done. The following is to be done before we can ay we are really ready! a) Electrical door lock installation on new door and intercomb) Office DAC are re commissionedc) Air Conditioning controls with JACEd) Re installation of fire alarm panele) Re installation of all wall mounted items in tech area. This area
is to be made a show case and it is to reflect organisation and technology
f) shifting of technicians into permanent location. g) Snag list is pending which is with Dennis to implement
A General Note before we start- Some General Notes•Welcome to our new employees Stefan and Andrew- Clifton and Claudio please get them on Linkedin and onto this group for them to follow us•Stefan and Clifton have continued Webex sessions on Intruder alarms with Honeywell.•This last week me and John were at a Tridium conference packed with information, new technologies and new trends- I will return to work on 25/5 and John will be at Microbiz SF for the next week•Margaret is on leave as of 21st May to 1st June – Happy Holidays Margaret.
Projects and deadlines• 15_044_Hilton_Restaurant_Kitchen_AHU and
15_034_Hilton_Calorifier_Monitoring. We have managed to commission basic closed loop controls ... Next would be the full commissioning of the project- My estimate is that this will be completed by end of May 2016- CVA can you confirm that this is achievable
• 15_033_Westin_7-AHU- Most of the T&C should by now be completed. Pending is documentation CCI I would like a target date on the completion here
• 15_008 - Aurobindo PH02 BMS- We have made progress on commissioning here- we are stuck on a lot of issues by the client – We must do all we can to close items which are our control
Projects and deadlines• 13_052 New offices- Now a target is – Complete all
installations and everyone to move back to their places – Design office is now relocated- I would like to have technicians back into place and we need to organise and clear up the tech room
• 12_027- Parliament installation of St James lift intercom and DAC system- This is now done by ESI and we are awaiting Panta to complete the whole job – Well done all who made sure we finished this project quickly
• The Vibrant Lighting control project will be due soon and I expect the commissioning of the project to happen in June or Latest July 2016-CCI should be finishing all programming by beginning of June 2016
DesignLast week• Life Sciences – PDFs of all drawings for MPA
O&M• Westin 7AHUs – get As Built feedback from DSH• Release query of Terminating details from all
accordingly, so I compile library for Terminating Matrix
• AAP Residence – concluded Points list & started on P&IDs of all remaining systems, awaiting 3rd party info.
DesignNext Week:• AAP Residence – start-up meeting with Installer• AAP Residence – conclude 1st run of P&IDs of all
remaining systems, awaiting 3rd party info to conclude & submit
• OTM –Q015_MOV_PT_for_P12 – complete by 27/5/2016
• MDH - Work Order & Labels for JGa –complete by 27/5/2016
InstallationPast week:– Completed and commissioned intruder at ESI offices– Started working on DAC at ESI offices– Preparation for new intercom at ESI offices– Some finishing’s at ESI offices– Completed first and second fix at BMIT-DAC– Completed installation on parliament lift– Started intruder installation at University
InstallationNext week:– Meet with DLI and discuss installation of OVT
Penthouse– Complete intruder installation at University– Complete DAC at BMIT– Complete DAC termination at ESI offices – Rewire showroom roller shutter with permanent
supply– Start works on level -1 (ESI offices)
Panel BuildThere are no Panel Build activities at this point- we

Development and Commissioning• Parliament project - we have an urgent quote to implement on
Parliament St James lift (intercom and DAC readers)- this has been done and we are now waiting for Panta- NEXT IS TO TACKLE SNAGS ON PARLIAMENT so as to close off the whole job
• The last issues on the DAC for SCM PH2- IT IS NOW A PRORITY AND WE NEED TO GET COMPLETION CERTIFICATION
• 12_043_Life Sciences – Collecting the KWhr monthly data and finishing off what we can is a huge urgency!!
• SCM PH2 needs also some attention on the tagging purchase order for the BMS- CVA is to work on this
• The Bosch HSDK interface is well advanced and we have documented and we should shortly be expecting to go overseas to commission
Development and Commissioning• OTM urgent jobs and snags – P12/ Tank Field 3 and
quoting for the AS410 change over• CCA Villa - AC snags and ILPS. CCI and DFA I need your
feedback and way ahead• Oncology 14_066- We have done most of the work
here and are waiting from Panta on this• Aurobindo we are proceeding with software
development and we have done quite some progress – we are also now commissioning this project- we need to meet client so as to highlight what is pending and find a way ahead
Development and Commissioning• 16_004_Microbiz_PW_Otis_Interface- is now
urgent and must meet our deadlines• 14_081_Siggiewi School- Lets move on concluding
issues related to Data acquisition and analysis.... We need good data to prove our systems
• 16_017_BMIT_DAC- We have done first and second fix and now need to proceed to commission
• 16_011_Intruder_UOM- We have started installation on this project
Data, data and more data• We have a lot of projects which are giving us a lot
of data and I would like to start telling “stories” by data
• I need the data from MDH, CCI (for siggiewi) and what type of data we can get from SCM (From CVA) – Once I have these I will start writing our stories with the data
Sales and Business Development• We have been working on a quote for Actavis,
2 other Home automation projects and soon we will be quoting OTM for the change over of their PLC/Operating system and re writing of their core software
• During the next days I will also be sending updates of what was presented at the Niagara summit 2016

• Quality Tasks- I need to know your plan to complete quality tasks by 15th June 2016
• I sent out some e mails to some of you to give me feedback on what tools and instruments you have so as to have a log of everyone- I need your feedback by 30th June 2016
• Quality questions for new employees – I sent these out and need them returned by 13th July 2016
