Hypothesis

● Employees don’t want to be Facebook friends with their

bosses

● Employees deliberately restrict their boss's access to the

content shared on Facebook in order to limit their exposure.

● Even though they have a friendly relationship IRL,

employees don’t want to be Facebook friends with their

bosses.

● Online random sampling, via Facebook shares

● 110 respondents

● 12 questions questionnaire, created with Google Forms

● 95% employed for the past 3 months

● With ages between 18 and 46 years old

● 99% urban environment (big, medium, small)

62% are Facebook friends with their boss, 26% are not, and 8% are, but wish they

weren’t. Only 2% of respondents are not friends with their boss, but with they were.

Only 15% of respondents have restricted their boss’s access to Facebook content. 79%

do not deliberately restrict access to any type of content.
