Background

Born In Manchester on October 9th 1955

Went to Manchester Polytechnic between 1975-78, studying Graphic Design

Rose to fame through his Record Sleeve designs for Factory records

Saville relocated to London to work as In-house art Director at Virgin Records offshoot Dindisc.

Notorious for crafting the sleeve for New Order’s song ‘Blue Monday’

Became biggest selling 12” release in music history.

Ask to created the limited edition clothing range for Lacoste’s 80th anniversary.

Produced 80 designs for men and 80 for women ( only 160 made)

Cost 420 each Disposed of Crocodile and replaced it

with embroidery

Kanye West’s latest record ‘Yeezus’ is said to be clearly influenced by Peter Saville’s design for New Order’s ‘Crystal’.

Kanye West has recently signed Saville to design a logo for him.
