Personal Pronoun

Subject pronouns

are used when the person or thing is the subject of the sentence or clause. Object pronouns are used when the person or thing is the object of the sentence or clause

Types Of Pronouns

• Singular Pronouns - Where the pronoun is only referring to one specific noun.

• Plural Pronouns - Where the pronoun is used to refer to a number of nouns.

Prepositional pronouns come after a preposition. No distinct forms exist in English

Possessive pronouns are used to indicate possession or ownership.

Relative Pronouns (who/whoever/which/that) relate groups of words to nouns or other pronouns (The student who studies hardest usually does the best.)

Interrogative pronouns (who/which/what) introduce questions. (What is that? Who will help me? Which do you prefer?) Which is generally used with more specific reference than what.
