A Fresh New Experience in
Project-‐Making and Learning
Kirchhoff’s current law (KCL) states that at any juncDon in a circuit, the incoming current is equal to the outgoing current. In this project, we will test this law in a parallel combinaDon of two ‘LED and resistor’ pairs.
We will measure the current passing through each ‘LED and resistor’ pair with the help of a
mulDmeter. Then we will measure the current in the main branch. We will noDce that the sum of current passing through each ‘LED and resistor pair’ is approximately equal to the current in main branch. This establishes the KCL.
