• Pantawid Children aged 8 – 12 years old.

At the end of the module, the participants will be able to:

Determine the essentiality of clear and open communication.

Identify ways how to have a good communication with each other.

Determine various ways how to resolve conflicts between parents and children.

Methodology:Creative Media

Lecture & Discussion

Divide the participants into four (4) groups and give a task with regards relationship of parents to their children. First group: How the Parents will

communicate and connect to their children aged 0 – 3 years old.

Second group: aged 4 – 6 years old. Third group: aged 7 – 12 years old Fourth group: aged 13 – 18 years old.

Give the participants freedom to choose how they will present their role play: Scene in the house, ambush interview of a station in television, sing and dance or comics (collage).

Anu – ano ang mga kadahilanan ng pagkakaroon ng alitan ng magulang at anak?

Anu – ano naman ang mga pamamaraan para malutas ang alitan ng magulang at anak?

Anu – ano ang mga dapat gawin para maiwasan ang alitan ng magulang at anak?

Is very important in making connection in a family and other people.

Through verbal and non – verbal.

Parents should also learn how to read or determine the true feelings of their children.

The most important communication is active listening.

Use I – message. “Anak, nag-aalala AKO kapag umuuwi ka

nang gabi.” “Natatakot AKO at nangangamba kung

nasaan ka na.” “Nais KO sanang umuwi ka nang maaga

nang sa gayon ay makapagpahinga mula sa iyong pag-aaral.”

WAYS HOW TO STRENGTHEN

COMMUNICATION AND CONNECTIONS

Talk sincerely to your children without remorse.

Sincerely ask for an apology if you as a parent committed mistake.

Use clear and appropriate communication: expression of feelings, opinion in the situation and experiences and expectations.

Solve immediately the problem between the parents and children.
