It’s genre is an animated, fantasy, adventure comedy movie.

It’s audience is aimed at family’s and young children who want to watch a funny, adventurous film.

In the Kingdom of Arendelle, Princess Elsa has the power of freezing, creating ice and snow. When playing with her sister Elsa accidentally hits Anna on the head with her power and almost kills her. Their parents who King and Queen of Arndelle bring them to the magical trolls to save Anna's life and make her forget what happened and her sister’s power. Elsa returns to the castle and refuses to leave her room with fear of hurting Anna or anyone else around her with her increasing power. Their parents die when their ship sinks in the ocean and three years later, the coronation of Elsa forces her to open the gates of her castle to celebrate with the people.

When the audience is first introduced to Princess Elsa she looks confident, happy and, bubbly but becomes insecure and afraid of hurting her sister and others around her.

Princess Anna is playful, fun, daring, childish, she acts before she thinks and she loves her sister deeply.

The King and Queen of Arendelle are the parents of Princess Elsa and Anna. They panic when Elsa accidently hits Anna in the head with her power. Like any good parent they protect their daughters. Unfortunately they die.

They are seen in the introduction copying the older men cut through ice. Kristoff is an outsider who sells ice to the people who live in Arendelle. He has one friend called Sven the reinder.

Sven is Kristoff’s loyal friend.

The film begins with many male harvesters colleting ice from the frozen lake. Among them is a young lad called Kristoff with his loyal friend Sven. After collecting the ice they head to Arendelle. Early in the morning, in the Arendelle castle the youngest Princess wakes her sister up to play with her. They go outside to build a snowman called Olaf. Unfortunately, Elsa hits her sister with her powers by accident.

Then the Royal family travel to the valley of the rock to get the Trolls to heal Princess Anna and to erase her memory of what happened, how it happened and Elsa’s power. The setting colours are dark brown, grey, dark green and dark blue.

The Royals then go back to the castle and Princess Elsa locks herself in her room and refuses to let anyone in.

The King and Queen dies when a storm erupts and they are swallowed by a gigantic wave.

Three years later it’s Elsa coronation ceremony and she opens the gate. The setting then goes from sad to happy as we see Anna running and singing around the house. During this scene we see paintings in the house

The design team did really well with the clothing and the landscape. It looked so real, it really mimicked the traditional clothing and the landscape looked magical. The lighting effects that they had on the ice and snow made it more believable.

Frozen was fantastic overall I would give it 8 out of 10. It’s an enjoyable film, I would recommend my friends and family to watch it. Frozen is the first Disney film that teaches you that you don’t need a mans love and also that the deepest love comes from family.
