“HOW EFFECTIVE IS THE COMBINATION OF YOUR MAIN PRODUCT AND ANCILLARY TEXTS?”

I believe my final film, in collaboration with the film poster and double page spread, came together effectively to form synergy. In order to do this and fit my ancillary texts within the genre of my film, I had to first research both independent/short film posters and mainstream horror posters. I analysed examples from both categories as I felt a combination of the two would give me a better understanding of what features to include in a short horror film poster. In turn, making it more effective as a promotional ancillary text.
