Fee Region $250.00 This class is NOT free. In order to reserve a seat, all agencies must submit a check made out to the Verbal Judo Institute for $250.00 per student and your letter of authorization to Palm Beach State College. Registration MUST be through your agency training department or coordinator. Registrations may be faxed on agency letterhead to 561-868-3401. Students MUST wear appropriate clothing while attending courses at the Criminal Justice Institute (NO shorts, flip-flops or tank tops).

Course Description: Verbal Judo is the principle of Judo

itself: using the energy of others to

master situations. It contains a set of communication

principles and tactics that enable the

user to generate cooperation and

gain voluntary compliance in others

under stressful conditions, such as

hostile suspects, upset or frightened

victims, or any action which places

the officer and the community at

odds with each other.
