Navigation and surface-search radars are not listed. All classifications are purelyunofficial and are based on an attempt to use standard classifications throughout all

into service; they are laid up and probably deteriorating.

Note: Two Dobrynya Nikitich class port icebreakers are probably under local control atOdesa, not under naval control. The sail training ship Khersones, Tovaristsch and

possibly others are under civilian control.

Note: A large fleet of scientific ships (space event support ships, survey ships, research

ships, etc.) were abandoned in the Ukraine upon the collapse of the USSR; they have

sold or are working in commercial service.
