LeAnn Moen is our new children’s church coordinator. She is looking for teachers and helpers

to be on rotation for children’s church. She will welcome the help of husband and wife teams as

A Practical Appeal to Faithfulness

There have been a lot of surgeries and illnesses within

our church family recently. If you would like to be put on

the prayer chain due to illness or surgery, please contact

the Church Office. We cannot put anyone on the prayer

chain without their explicit permission.

On Sunday, September 23rd, we will say farewell to

longtime members of our church family, Harold, Eunice,

& Charlie Bickel, with a shared meal following the

worship service. The Bickels will be moving to

Vancouver, WA. Since the Bickels are well-loved by the

entire Goldendale community, we will invite many

other friends to this going-away party. Please plan to

bring large-sized salads to accommodate the

extra people.

Eunice & Harold would like help moving on Saturday,

September 8th @ 10AM, and Saturday, September

22nd @ 10AM.

AWANA

The first AWANA meeting of the

year will be Wednesday,

September 19th, at 2:15pm, for

ages 3 years old-6th grade.

AWANA is an excellent opportunity to minister to

the kids of Goldendale. Call the Church Office to

register!

YOUTH GROUP The first YOUTH GROUP meeting of the year will

be Wednesday, September 5th, at 6:00pm. Kids

in grades 7-12 are encouraged to come!

A new Ladies’ Bible Study begins September 10th

at 6:30 PM! Anita Wirick will lead a study on First

Corinthians by Melissa Spoelstra, entitled First

Corinthians: Living Love When We Disagree. Books

cost $15.00 each. A signup sheet is on the back table.

The deadline to sign up is September 2nd!

MOVIE NIGHT!

On Friday, September 14th, at 7:00 PM, we will host a movie night featuring I Can Only Imagine, based on MercyMe’s song of the same title. Come be encouraged and fellowship with us!
