Warm-Up Time?

• Warm-ups- Required Daily - usually located on the board

• You need…– A pencil (sharpened) – Paper– Spiral/Journal– All other materials requested by teachers

What Do I Do If…

• Restroom Breaks

• Not while I’m teaching

• If there is an emergency, you must sign in and out

• If any problems occur while you are out of the room, you will only be allowed out with an escort

• Restroom break policy is determined by the office

• SHOW RESPECT TO ALL SCHOOL PROPERTY

What Do I Do When…

• I’m absent – Make up all work– It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO GET ALL ASSIGNMENTS– Ask to copy notes– Ask for assignments/worksheets– TURN IN WORK!

• Sharpening Pencils– Before Class – during transitions – keep several

in your zipper pouch

Homework Policy

Edgewood ISD and Winston Elementary have a homework policy that states:

20-30 minutes of homework will be given each night in the core subjects:

Reading, Math, Science, History
