Selecting classes

As you select classes, a few things to consider:

Challenge and success- Select classes in which you will experience both challenge and success.

Consider all of your commitments- Athletics, AVPA, and other extra-curricular activities often involve staying after school. As you select classes, keep all of your time commitments in mind. In general, expect more homework in high school.

Be sure you meet the prerequisites. Prerequisites are designed to ensure students have mastered the skills/concepts necessary to succeed in a course.

Most honors classes have SUMMER WORK.
