Introduction

1. Vectos has been commissioned by Mrs Louise Reeves to provide transport and highway advice in

relation to an outline planning application for proposed residential development at Land at Cooks

Lane, Totton. The site location is shown in Figure 1.

2. The proposed development consists of up to 220 dwellings (of which 35% would be affordable

housing).

3. The site is part of Strategic Site 1: Land to the north of Totton as described in the New Forest District

Local Plan 2016 – 2036. The allocation is for:

• At least 1,000 homes, dependent on the form, size and mix of housing provided.
