Second progress report Village Loghani Palari Taluka Thano Bola Khan

Summery

The project includes deep bore Tube well in village Longani Palari. The population of village is 60 households. The steps that had followed were:1. Dialogue with village community men and women introducing the scope of work and

partnership.2. Once the community agreed on the concept of partnership, sustainability, and operation and

maintenance the community and formed the village organization having representative from all the household of the villages benefiting from the project

3. The terms of partnership had been signed between HF and Village organization elaborating the role and responsibility of each party

4. The community was asked to form a project execution committee and take the responsibility of implementing the project on ground

5. During the implementation of the first phase (test boring, tank repair, account opening, etc) of the project the Village organization had identified a person whom HF had arranged the training to operate the project.

6. HF had made certain that the complete process documented and reported in an transparent manner.

7. The first process of the project was completed in the month of December 2014. 8. The report of the first phase completion was submitted to ADP 9. The second phase was about tube well boring, fixing casing, ensuring required water

column, fixing solar panels, and installing submersible pump to pull out water. This process has been completed on Saturday the 7th of March 2015.

10. Now that the water is gushing from the well through solar run submersible pump, which still needs couple of days to clear the mud and clean water.

11. The Third and last phase of the project (digging of trench, laying pipeline from the well to the tank in the village and running water through it) would start from Wednesday March 11, 2015 and would need another 15 days to complete the project.

12. The whole project (all phases) will be complete and Hisaar will submit the final report to ADP by end of this months.
